Automatic Maintanance and Log file.

This is a discussion on Automatic Maintanance and Log file. within the db2-udb forums in Other Databases category; Our environment win.2003 server and db2 ESE ver.8.1 fixpack 14 We schecduled the autoamtic maintanance to handle off line backup at off line time. We are getting the folluwing error code on db2diag.log file and seeing that backup activities did not occur at the specified time. Function : DB2 UDB, Health Monitor, HmonBkperrHandFunc, Probe:130 Called : DB2,UDB HealthMonitor, HmonBkphmonBackupCacheFile Retcode: ECF=0x900000A=-1879048166=ECP_FILE_DOESNT_EXIST File doesn't exist We did not activite health monitor and das. It seems as if we are not provided the backup directory. Actually we did. What does all this mean? Why ...

We did not activite health monitor and das.

What does all this mean? Why it is not taking backup at the indicated time ?
