Default FM 8 Server Admin Crashes ! Please help!

Hello all,

We use FM server admin 8. Recently, our server admin crashes very
often freezing our server.
Also, sometimes the client database closes itself. Could anyone help
us solve this !!!!!!!
How do I manually restart web publishing without having to restart the
whole system?

Check out the FM Server command line interface, fmsadmin. It's in the
same directory as FM Server. You can manage all the FMS functions
from the command line. And if you're running Windows, look in the
\AdminResource\English directory you'll find the compiled FMS help
file, which is executable (meaning you can run it without having
Server Admin running). The command line reference is in there.

Beyond that, you might want to check the status of the FM Server and
FMS Helpers Windows services.
