How to determine if a table exists in SQLBase

This is a discussion on How to determine if a table exists in SQLBase within the Gupta Database forums in Other Databases category; I have a need to determine if a specific table exists. The name of the table is always static. If the table exists, I need to drop it. If it does not exist, then I need to do nothing. Is there a function I can use to do this? Any help is appreciated. Thank you....
