This is a discussion on Re: SIS: Talk about a shift in partners... within the informix forums in Other Databases category; You've been out of Sales for awhile haven't you Gumby....What you stated isn't anything like the real world. We've had Oracle in our shop for awhile doing a major PeopleSoft upgrade and no one from Oracle or the 3rd party consulting group is pushing anything on us. They have no problem with us running Informix and they aren't having any problems certifying Informix. They're just happy to have our business. --- On Mon, 8/25/08, Ian Michael Gumby wrote: > From: Ian Michael Gumby > Subject: Re: SIS: Talk about a shift in partners... > To: ...

You've been out of Sales for awhile haven't you Gumby....What you stated isn't anything like the real world.

We've had Oracle in our shop for awhile doing a major PeopleSoft upgrade and no one from Oracle or the 3rd party consulting group is pushing anything on us.

They have no problem with us running Informix and they aren't having any problems certifying Informix.

They're just happy to have our business.
