There is no "smurt" data. Just smurt people who can interpret the data, or know what data to create so that they can track the data. And it goes to something else.... IDS is the database with the best extensibility ability. Who knows anything about DB2 Extenders or Oracle's "Data Cartridges" ? Nada. DataBlades? More information is available in the public and more companies take advantage of the datablades than the competition. So if Sam wants "Smurt Data", then he should be also pushing IDS.
