Well, that's a question for Ingres Corp, I guess.

CA supported Telesis with the modified dictfiles, but I don't recall
going out of my way to tell them about the mods either.

It's a pretty innocuous mod. My guess (and it IS a guess) is
that it won't affect your support unless they are looking for a
reason to make you go away.
