| Hi All, One user comes back from maturnative leave the 4th August. She starts delete a couple of thousand emails and everything works fine until yesterday 2nd September. Her ID was lost and I had to recover an old file and recertify it. She starts to use it and voila, all her deleted mails are back and ALL mails are marked unread. No replica's of the maildatabase exists in the domain. Replication history last entry is dated 2007-01-26. Remove document in Replication settings is not marked and set to 90 days. Her old and new CN has the same access in the ACL. Softdeletions set to 48 hours. What could have caused this to happened? Any toughts? | When you say her ID was lost, what do you mean exactly? Is there no way this ID can be recovered? Given the problem started when the old ID was used it seems likely it's at fault. Had anything about her ID changed from old and new version? Has their been any change of name, OU, public key etc? This type of problem I find is all too common because users demand name changes without understanding of the vital importance that a backup of their changed file is retained. If the unread marks have been reset that suggests Notes thinks it's a different user and has maintained the unread marks for each seperate user.
