Lotus Smart Suite 97

This is a discussion on Lotus Smart Suite 97 within the lotus-notes-misc forums in Other Technologies category; I hope I am posting this in the correct group I have a friend of mine in Scotland who uses Lotus Smart Suite 97 for his address book. From what I gather this is called Organizer? He just purchased a new PC and has installed Lotus, but needs to copy the data files for organizer from his old PC to the new PC. Does organizer have a backup or export feature to be able to do this. I am playing PC tech from 5000 miles away and am not familiar with Lotus. Could anybody please give me some help? Thanks...

'1/ Launch Organizer
'2/ Export the address book:
' File or Type = ASCII Delimted Text (*.txt)
' From Select = Address
' Field Mapping = All Fields
'3/ Launch this code which could be an emailed button or even within the
person's Personal NAB
'4/ Type in the full path and file name eg.
C:\lotus\Notes\Data\ExportOrg.txt
'5/ Job done.
The above steps were for something else but seem relevent in your case.
I don't user those products but there must be an import back from .csv as
well.
If you want to involve Notes also in the deal take a look at

Hope this gets you out of more trouble than it will get you in.
