Flash and notes

I have found that:
When I specify a URL in the Home URL field of the Server document that
begins with a / (slash), the page will load in the web browser, but it hangs
when it tries to load the Flash file.
When I put the full URL complete with the http: //servername etc. then the
page loads with the flash file, the problem with this is the URL in the Web
Browser shows the Domino URL syntax ie. ../dbname.nsf/pagename?openPage etc.
whereas I would like to just have the domain name showing, as you would if
you had a URL that begins with a / (slash).

Does anyone know why the page hangs when you specify a URL that begins with
a / (slash) and how I can overcome this problem?
