Hide empty fields when printed

This is a discussion on Hide empty fields when printed within the lotus-notes-programmer forums in Other Technologies category; I have created an an invoicing program which produces a customer bill consisting of several subtotals, tax and a final total. If it is not necessary to use all the lines to enter subtotals I would like these fields to not appear on the printed invoice. How do you write conditional formulas which affect whether a field is printed?...

Default Hide empty fields when printed

I have created an an invoicing program which produces a customer bill
consisting of several subtotals, tax and a final total.
If it is not necessary to use all the lines to enter subtotals I would like
these fields to not appear on the printed invoice.
How do you write conditional formulas which affect whether a field is
printed?
