using rank in fulltext

This is a discussion on using rank in fulltext within the ms-sqlserver forums in Microsoft SQL Server category; Hello there. I'm new on FullText Search. I need this in order to find part of words on 3 of my columns in table (Table1(Txt1, Txt2, Txt3) I've discovered the function CONTAINSTABLE(...) which brings me rank of find. what is the logical of ranks?...

Default using rank in fulltext

Hello there.

I'm new on FullText Search.

I need this in order to find part of words on 3 of my columns in table
(Table1(Txt1, Txt2, Txt3)

I've discovered the function CONTAINSTABLE(...) which brings me rank of
find.

what is the logical of ranks?
