| Please excuse my intrusion into the group. Find below a vacancy for an IT Manager for a company that uses D3. Thanks, John Vinciguerra. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Chemform is a medium sized privately owned chemical manufacturer and distributor based in Perth, Western Australia. The company has an opening for an IT Manager. The role involves day to day support of the company's network and servers (a mix of Windows and Linux servers) as well as approx 20 Windows XP client PCs and notebooks. Support aspects include hardware installation/support/repairs, software installation/support, and technical support to end users. In addition, the role will require the candidate to become a 'power user' of our accounting system. This will involve gaining an understanding of the way the system is used by all roles within the company so that questions such as 'where do I go for this?', 'what is the best way to do this?' etc can be answered. We seek a candidate that would be capable (in time) of writing custom reporting processes and performing changes to the accounting package as the needs of the business change. To this end some previous programming experience and previous experience working with an accounting systems is required. The role would be suited to somebody with a combined IT and business background who has previously worked in a similar role. An understanding of standard business processes and functions is mandatory. Accounting/book-keeping experience is also an advantage. We seek a candidate who is interested in a long term career with the company who is happy to diversify their skill set and assist in other areas besides IT. The successful candidate will work with the current IT Manager for six months so that training in the company's IT systems can be provided. Salary is $50,000 to $75,000 depending on qualifications and experience. Candidates must reside in Perth, Western Australia. Relocation expenses will not be paid. Telecommuting is not an option.
