as I remember ipp doesn't use apache2 (but apache)
the default config file is /etc/apache/httpd-standalone-ipp.conf (of
course, you may use any other - you should correct corresponding xml
file - man svccfg)

hope it will help.

Just to add - ipp is not affected by any existing Cu apache instances
running. the service uses the standard 631 port that should not
intersect with another daemons.
if you have the service not run - look on the dependencies for ipp to
be run (svcs -xv; svcs -d 'service-name')

Thank you,

I have apache2 enabled, but a couple months ago, apache 1.3 would
start up each time I reboot (which is at least once per week with all
those patches :-/ ). So I renamed /usr/apache to /usr/apache1.3 to
prevent that, and that must be the problem with IPP.

Of course that leaves me with another problem to troubleshoot!
