| When I undock the computer from the port rep, I receive the following ODBC error, even though it is a local database. [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBMSLPN] Connection Write (send()). (10054) [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBMSLPN] General network error. Check your network documentation. (11) ODBC -- call failed. (3146) I have a Vista tablet PC that runs a third party software connected to a SQL Server Express (SP2) installed on that tablet. The software runs fine when the unit is docked or undocked. But the process of UNDOCKING seems to produce this error. I tried SQL Native Client ODBC with similar results, except the message includes "The semaphore timeout period has expired. (121)" ODBC settings: - System DSN - Windows Authentication - Default database specified - ANSI quoted identifiers - ANSI nulls - Perform translation for character data FYI, this Database is a pull subcriber to a merge replication pubication (SQL Server 2005 SP2). Any suggestions or advice is appreciated, thanks. |

| Resolved with creating a SQL Native Client ODBC DSN and explicitly specifying the servername (not "(local)"). |
